 NSW Feed in TARIFF Announced

It was announced by the NSW Government on Tuesday the 23rd of June that as off the 1st of January 2010 the NSW Feed in Tarriff scheme will commence.The Gross Feed In Tarrif for NSW is now available.

It will pay eligible systems 60 cents per kilowatt hour for the renewable energy they feedback into the grid - this is around four times greater than the average price of electricity. READ MOREclick here for the media release.

Australian Government Programs for Residential & Community

It is expected that the new rebate that will replace the $8000 solar rebate that ended on the 9th of June 2009 will be replaced with a new solar grant in mid August.  The new solar rebate will not be means tested, and will be between $4000 and $7500 which will be provided to home owner installing a minimum system of 1.5kw.

At present solar systems installed from the 9th of July 2009 will allow for the creation of " Solar Credits" that will assit with the upfront costs of installing a solar photovoltaic system. Read More
